Do I need a Partner to come to class?

Nope. We rotate partners, so you will get a chance to dance with everyone. About half of the students come to class as singles and the numbers are usually pretty well split between leaders and followers. 

What should I wear to my class/ lesson?

Whatever is comfortable for you! Some people like to get dressed up, some people like to wear their workout clothes, and some people like to wear jeans- it's all fine! Just make sure you can move.

There is no dress code for Dancing Daisies, but most little ones do like to wear tights, leotards, tutus, or leggings. Socks tend to be slippery so plan on wearing ballet slippers or going barefoot. 

What about shoes?

I recommend shoes that stay on your feet (no flip flops) that aren't too sticky, leather soles are preferable to rubber. You do NOT need dance shoes, but if you are wanting to invest in a pair we have some affordable options here.

I want to learn how to dance, where should I start?

Any beginner class will work for you. Also, private lessons are perfect if you are feeling nervous about your first class. You can book your first lesson online here.

I'm getting married this weekend and we only have one hour to learn to dance, can you help us?

Probably. Don't worry, we can keep it simple. I recommend 3-6 lessons for wedding couples, but we can work with your budget and time restrictions.

What is your cancellation policy?

No Shows and Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule a lesson with up to 24 hours notice.

Lessons cancelled with less than a 24 hour notice must be paid for in full. 

If a student does show up for a lesson it must be paid for in full. 

Late Arrival

If you are going to be more than 10 minutes late please call or text me.

If I don't hear from you, I may leave the studio or otherwise be unavailable after 15 minutes. 

Your lesson (50 minutes) begins when the lesson was scheduled, not when you arrive. 

If Zoe is Late or Must Cancel

If I am late (even 1 minute) please do not hesitate to call or text me. 

If I am late we will make up the time by running late with your lesson or scheduling additional time on another date.

If I need to cancel a lesson with less than 24 hours notice I will give you an extra 30 minutes whenever our schedules allow. 

If I do not show up for a lesson I will give you a free 50 minute lesson.
